THERMOS® TAKES STUDENTS TO LUNCH WITH HOT, NEW CHARACTER LICENSES
Speed Racer™, Batman The Dark Knight™ and Barbie™ among this season’s top choices
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (March 16, 2008) – Over the years, parents have come to know and trust the reliability of Thermos as a partner in providing the most sought-after options for their children each back-to-school season. In 2008, Thermos is on top again with products featuring the most popular licensed characters sure to suit the taste of every child.

Speed Racer™ and Batman The Dark Knight™ are two of the newest additions to the Thermos® line-up, which includes favorites like Barbie™, Superman™ and Bratz™. Sure to be popular choices in 2008, both Speed Racer and Batman The Dark Knight products will hit the shelves in time to coincide with much anticipated big screen releases.

“What’s great about offering such a variety of characters for our lunch kits and FUNtainer™ products is that it strikes a perfect balance between what kids are looking for and what parents want,” said Julie Ryan, Director of Marketing - Softlines at Thermos. “Kids get the characters they love, while our high quality insulation lets parents send lunches with safe food and drink options.”

As the undisputed leader in the food storage category, Thermos provides more than just traditional lunch kit options. In addition to soft- and hard-sided kits, many parents have discovered the convenience of FUNtainer products. Stainless steel and TherMax® double wall vacuum insulation make these food jars and beverage bottles a great option for packing safer and more creative alternatives than your average PB&J.

The 10 oz. FUNtainer food jar keeps hot soup or frozen yogurt at appropriate temperatures well into the lunch hour, while the 12 oz. beverage bottle preserves cold drinks for up to 11 hours. Best of all, the FUNtainer line features many of the same licensed characters that can be found on other Thermos back-to-school products making them a sure hit with kids.

“For decades, Thermos has added new character licenses and fresh designs for the upcoming school year,” said Ryan. “We also go to great lengths to ensure that everything we offer delivers on our performance standards and that is why parents continue to trust our brand.”

Sans BPA Pourquoi Ça Compte

Bisphenol A
